How We Move, Teach & Show Up Together
Trust Yourself.
Your body holds wisdom. We honor your agency and encourage you to move in ways that feel right for you—on your own terms, at your own pace.
Come as You Are.
Every body, emotion, and identity is welcome here. Whether you’re energized or exhausted, tender or strong—you don’t have to be anything other than yourself.
Be Real. Be Rooted.
We lead with integrity and heart, holding space for truth over perfection and connection over performance. Here, authenticity is the practice.
Every class, workshop, and conversation is grounded in these principles—because how we move matters. Our classes will give you a living, breathing practice, rooted in care, truth, and choice.
We Invite You To Join Us.
Our Story Is a Spiral
Spiral Studio began as one woman’s refusal to choose between the head and the heart, between intellect and embodiment, between care and rigor.
Founder, Sarah Hentges, envisioned a space where movement could be more than exercise—where it could be ritual, rebellion, and return.
What began as a personal call became The Spiral Goddess Collective, a collective of teachers and facilitators and a container for healing and transformation.
Today, we call our downtown Bangor location Spiral Studio—a home for inclusive, trauma-informed movement and restorative practices that meet you exactly where you are.
No mirrors. No pressure. Just space to breathe, move, and remember who you are.
And we’re just getting started.
Our spiral continues—growing deeper roots, building stronger community, and expanding what’s possible through movement, joy, and collective care.
This is more than a studio. It’s a movement.
We Welcome You To Join Us!
